FAQ
We’re here to help with all your heating and air conditioning needs.
Check out the answers to our most frequently asked questions below.
Why is my AC blowing hot air?
The first thing to do if your air conditioner is blowing out hot air? Check the settings on you’re thermostat. If it’s set either “on” or off,” try changing it to “auto” to ensure the fan blows air only when the AC is cooling. Another quick fix before calling professionals is to take a look at the outdoor unit to make sure it is clear of debris that may be blocking airflow.
How often do I need to replace my HVAC filters?
The importance of changing your air filter cannot be overstated. Every 1 to 3 months will help keep the quality and performance levels high.
Can I get my electric bill lower?
There are things to consider as far as keeping your bill low in the summer including installing a programmable thermostat, scheduling AC maintenance, closing the curtains, and bumping up your temperature a couple of degrees.
When should I have my system serviced?
The best way to ensure your HVAC system is running efficiently all year round? Make sure it gets serviced before each heating and cooling season! And don’t forget – if something does go wrong with you unit during any part of the year (or even after), we offer 24/7 emergency service as well.
Why is my AC frozen?
There are a number of reasons why your air conditioning system might be frozen, and it’s important to address the problem as soon as possible. If left untreated for long enough – even if there’s only minimal damage at first-you could end up with more serious problems such has resignation or corrosion on metal parts inside which will make anything else worse than before!
When should I replace my furnace?
Your furnace is an important part of your home. If you notice that it’s inefficient or not heating the house properly, then this could be a sign for a replacement since older furnaces don’t work as well and will cost more money in energy bills over time due to their poor condition. If it’s over 15 years, it’s likely time for a new furnace.
